HKS Alumni Pride Caucus

A home for LGBTQ+ alumni of Harvard Kennedy School.

The HKS Alumni Pride Caucus exists to bring LGBTQ+ alumni together across generations, professions, and places. We are rebuilding this caucus as a space for connection, visibility, leadership, and support — a place where alumni can reconnect, share opportunities, and help shape a stronger LGBTQ+ presence within the broader Harvard Kennedy School community.

This is about more than networking. It is about belonging. It is about creating room for conversation, leadership, and community rooted in public service and shared values.

LGBTQ+ alumni are doing important work across government, nonprofits, advocacy, education, politics, philanthropy, media, organizing, and cultural leadership. Some alumni remain closely connected to Harvard. Others have not engaged in years. The caucus should make room for both.

This space should feel welcoming whether someone graduated recently or decades ago, whether they are highly engaged in LGBTQ+ work or simply looking for a way back into alumni community.

In the months ahead, we will share events, alumni stories, Pride programming, election information, and opportunities to reconnect. The goal is not only to communicate updates. The goal is to make the caucus feel visible, thoughtful, and worth returning to.
